Koobokile Patrick Kooitse graduated with a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying from the University of the West of England (UWE), in Bristol, England in 1998 and has practised since as a Quantity Surveyor, Contracts Administrator and Contracts/Procurement Manager in Botswana, Kingdom of Bahrain, Republic of Guinea, Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of Liberia. Mr Kooitse’s experience includes industry sectors such as building construction, civil and earthworks infrastructure, mining and energy, for various organisations including Murray and Roberts (Botswana, contractor), The Fitzwilliam Partnership (Botswana, consultancy), DG Jones Middle East (Bahrain, consultancy), VDDB (South African, consultancy), Akanyang Skinner Associates (Botswana, consultancy), Fluor (South Africa/USA, EPCM), AMEC (South Africa, EPCM) and Professional Cost Consultants (South Africa, consultancy). Mr Kooitse became a founding Director at KKR Projects (Pty) Ltd in Botswana in 2016, where he remains to this day, providing and overseeing such services along the way as Contracts/Procurement management at the Karowe Underground Project for Lucara Botswana and recently took on responsibility of site quantity surveying on the Jwaneng Underground Project for Debswana.
